We have created a photoshop plugin that allows you to:
- Create a Virtual Frame
- Select the border using Generative Fill
- Frame an Image
- Add a mat and choose the color and size
- Add a Title and choose the font and color
The frame does not have to be the same aspect ratio as the image. The frame has layer styles applied to simulate a 3D look, as does the mat.
The frame can be saved as a separate file for reuse.
A common use case is to experiment virtually before choosing a frame and mat.
Another common use is to post the framed image on social media or in an online store. A framed image is often more attractive than an unframed one.
Installation
The plugin is a standard ccx file. Opening the file should trigger the Adobe Creative Cloud Application which will guide you from there.
