Create a Frame

Photoshop Plugin

Let's examine how to create a virtual frame using the Add Frame plugin.

  1. Launch the Plugin from Plugins->Add Frame->Add Frame
  2. Click on the Create Frame Button
  3. ...
  4. Fill out the parameters. The units are pixels. To avoid pixelizations make the frame roughly the size of your image.
  5. Fill out the generative fill prompt. (e.g. "Pine wood texture with vertical grain.")
  6. If you leave the prompt empty the frame will be black.
  7. If you want to interact with the generative fill click the edit checkbox. Otherwise the first option will be automatically selected.
  8. Click Create Frame to Build it.
  9. If you chose edit, the process will pause after the generative fill has run. Choose one of the three selections shown in the properties window or type in another prompt. When satisfied hit the continue button.

The frame can be saved as a separate file for reuse.

You can modify the frame using any of photoshop's tools.
